At some point in everyone's life they are lucky enough to realize what their passion is and my passion is working alongside children. My name is Julie Beaty and I have the pleasure to serve the next generation. I currently hold a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction along with an Educational Leadership and Administration degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. I also have earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. This is my 18th year teaching! In the past, I have taught 4th Grade for 16 years in Indianapolis Public Schools. I am grateful for my experiences in IPS, but I have a transitioned to the Indiana School for the Blind and Visual Impaired as a teacher and instructional coach.
A couple fun facts: I have a 5th Grade son named Andrew! We have super fun dachshund named Dash!
